He is also actively involved in community services and the conservation of the cultural heritage of the Afrikaner nation, much oppressed by the current regime in South Africa.
He is an Icon under young and old.
Was nominated as 32nd and 13th most popular South African of all time in two different polls in 2004.
Date of birth: 29/08/1964
Spouse: Natasha Sutherland (Actress)

He's also known for his poetry.
He recorded a duet with Belgian superstar Dana Winner, called You Don't Bring Me Flowers.
